Our vision for the limited release Prodigy is to handcraft a timeless Coonawarra Shiraz to stand in company with the finest in the world. This exclusive wine is released only from vintages when a superior quality is achieved. Crafted with the most meticulous attention to detail, it is a seamless blend of intense fruit and oak maturation.

This 21st vintage release is classic Odyssey and showcases the essence of Coonawarra. With 39 months maturation in French and American barriques, intense regional and varietal fruit characters are seamlessly combined with an array of oak maturation characters.

Enticing peach, melon and citrus with subtle vanillin oak and a fresh, lingering finish. Enjoy now or will cellar for up to five years.

Vintage: 2017 was a return to a more traditional Coonawarra vintage with a cool growing season and long, mild summer. Harvest was later than in recent years; ideal conditions in the lead up produced outstanding Shiraz fruit with deep colour and rich fruit flavours.

Intense blackcurrant, mint flavours and fine tannins. Classic Coonawarra. Rated 'Excellent' by Langton's and 94 points by Halliday.
