Katnook Founder’s Block wines are named in honour of the original land holding of John Riddoch, the founder of Coonawarra.
The Founder’s Block range is styled for everyday enjoyment, inviting  wine consumers to explore the pleasures of Coonawarra wine.
The wines are grounded in the past and genuinely focused on the present.They are honest, fruit driven, harmonious and shine with pure Coonawarra character.

Founder's Block Sauvignon Block 2021

Vintage 2021 in Coonawarra has all the hallmarks of a brilliant one. Mother Nature ws very kind to us from flowering until harvest. Nearly ideal conditions have produced wines of great flavour and lovely natural acidity. This fresh, youthful Sauvignon Blanc is balanced and textural, showing hints of citrus, lychee with a lovely savoury finish.
