This Coonawarra Chardonnay offers both texture and drive. Full yet driven, with a finely textured, long, linear and refreshing palate.
The palate is full and supple with vibrant layers of cassis, mulberry and blackberry fruit along with subtle hints of sage, herbs, and a pleasant earthy and savoury depth. The complex palate is framed with polished, fine-grained tannins, a hall mark of the Coonawarra region.
NEW RELEASE: This is a serious yet highly approachable Merlot, displaying a vibrantly layered palate of plum, red current, blackberry leaf and clove spice. Beautifully textured and balanced palate with fine tannins and bright acid line providing structure and persistence of flavour.
An elegant cool climate Shiraz, fine and silky. A richly layered palate of vibrant black and blue berry fruit, white pepper spice and sweet pastry notes. Lively acid with finely grained tannin frames the bright fruit creating a seamless, layered wine, boasting elegance, purity, and length of flavour.

Katnook Odyssey is created from small parcels of premium Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, sourced from the estate’s terra rossa vineyards that consistently produce exceptional fruit with outstanding depth of flavour and firm tannin structures.
Coonawarra experienced a strong vintage in 2022, reasonable winter and mid-spring rainfall providing ideal conditions for the growing season. Mild stable weather and minimal heat fluctuations, combined with cool night-time temperatures allowed for an extended ripening period and exception fruit quality at harvest.
The Founder’s Block range is styled for everyday enjoyment, inviting a modern generation of wine consumers to explore the pleasures of Coonawarra wine. Awarded Langton’s “Excellent” accolade, this limited release wine is produced only in vintages when a superior quality is achieved. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, Katnook Prodigy displays a seamless blend of intense fruit and oak maturation. An elegant, refined, lively yet supple shiraz that shows all the hallmarks of a cool climate style wine.

aromas. Dark plums and blackberry also light mulberry and cassis
are combined with subtle sweet vanillin and hints of chocolaty oak
maturation tones.

maturation flavours. Dark plum and black currant fruit highlight the

Medium crimson with light purple hues in appearance. Quintessential Shiraz aromas of blue fruits and spice flow from the glass. The palate presents blue fruits, spices and a lovely synergy between fruit and tannins. A wine to enjoy now or for the next few years.
