An expressive Cabernet Sauvignon which shows evocative notes of briar and forest floor with a lovely fruit aromatic profile. The palate is full and supple with the notes flowing through from the nose to the palate.

Vintage 2021 in Coonawarra has all the hallmarks of a brilliant one. Mother Nature ws very kind to us from flowering until harvest. Nearly ideal conditions have produced wines of great flavour and lovely natural acidity. This fresh, youthful Sauvignon Blanc is balanced and textural, showing hints of citrus, lychee with a lovely savoury finish.

18th VINTAGE RELEASE: Katnook Prodigy is created from small parcels of premium Shiraz grapes, sourced from the estate’s terra rossa vineyards that consistently produce exceptional fruit with outstanding depth of flavour and firm tannin structures. 
2017 was a return to a more  traditional Coonawarra vintage with a cool growing season and long, mild summer. Harvest was later than in  recent years; ideal conditions in the  lead up produced outstanding Shiraz fruit with vibrant flavours and  excellent regional expression.

A rich powerful Coonawarra Shiraz, this exclusive wine is released only from vintages when superior qualitly is achieved. This is the 15th vintage release and will age gracefully up to 20 years.
