Vintage: Coonawarra 2021 vintage displayed all the hallmarks of an incredible harvest. Good winter and early spring rains, providing sound conditions for the vines upcoming growing season. Mild and stable weather conditions through summer with minimal heat fluctuations ensured optimal ripening, and minimal vintage rains ensured outstanding fruit quality during harvest.

Colour: Deep red with magenta hues.

Nose: The Shiraz opens with plums, violets and spice. There are sweet notes of mocha and coffee, a very inviting Shiraz.

Palate:  The palate is rich yet restrained, supple yet driven, round and friendly but still showing characteristics of elegant cool climate Shiraz. This is a bright, crunchy and pleasing wine.

Food Matching:  Braised beef, aged cheddar or a vegan chocolate tart.
