Katnook Estate Shiraz captures the elegance and underlying power of classic cool climate Shiraz. Coonawarra's 2016 vintage was an early one. An ideal growing season with slightly above average temperatures, dry conditions and cool nights produced excellent Shiraz wines with deep coulour, generous fruit flavours, and great length.

Richly layered palate of ripe berries with hints of liquorice and spice, complemented by subtle oak and fine, lingering tannins. Excellent fruit concentration and structure offer remarkable cellering potential of up to 15 years. 

This 2016 vintage has won two international medals - a silver at the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition 2018 and bronze at the International Wine Challenge UK 2019.
